60's FLOWER SHIFT DRESS

This dress is made from Tergal, by the French firm Rhodeciata, which has the feel of a woven medium cotton. It is in fact a polyester. In excellent condition, the colours are still vibrant. Double breasted and fastened with cream, domed saddle buttons. Revere collar and 2 large pockets on front. Size: no label, will fit 36” bust Price: £25.00 + £3.00 p&p

70's POLKA DOT by TRINA LEWIS & MARJON COUTURE

The 70’s does the 50’s; and with this dress, they have done it so well. In beautiful condition this calf-length cocktail dress has possibly never been worn. A fantastically fitting boned and strapless bodice, with optional 1” straps. The bodice has a deep turn-over with a large bow detail and drops to a flattering “V” on the hips. Gathered skirt with net underskirt. Add more for a real 50’s Rock ‘n’ Roll feel. Zipped back with the added benefit of a hook and eye at waist to keep zip turning neat and flat.

80'S DARK GREEN SUIT

A lovely suit, typical of the 80’s with its heavy shoulder pads and waisted jacket. The skirt is plain green, lined and a simple pencil shape with waistband and zip fastening. The jacket is the thing! The flower detail is beautiful, but difficult to photograph in true colour because of the sheen to the fabric. High necked, fastening down the front with 5 black saddle buttons. Full length sleeves with full-pleated caps, this jacket has a peplum “skirt” which is scooped at the back where it joins the main body. It is the detailing here that makes the jacket. Please see the photograph to appreciate the tie finish.

80’s HOLLYWOOD GLAMOUR

By “CONTINENTAL COUTURE LTD” this a stunning example of 80’s glamour. An acetate lined dress made in shear polyester hand-beaded with mostly tube beads with round ones at neck and around points. A wonderful keyhole back and invisible zip fastening. It has a built-in bra and padded shoulders. The sleeves are long and shear with the dense beaded detailing on the cuffs reflecting the pointed design on the neckline. Cocktail length with an 8½” slit at the back for ease of movement. In fabulous condition.

80'S PURPLE AND GREEN STRIPED EVENING DRESS - SOLD

This pure silk dress was made in Thailand, but gives no other information about itself. A simple V-necked bodice tops a full skirt at the waist. Very low calf to full length, depending on height. This dress is zipped at the back and unlined and could be worn as is or with a full underskirt. This dress would look as good shortened to knee length.

70's/80's TAFFETA AND VELVET

Designed by VIVIEN SMITH Evening gown of uncertain age but this designer was popular in the 80’s. The black velvet bodice is fitted with a deep “V” to the front and zip fastener at the back. The shawl collar is in the taffeta gathered on the shoulders and finished with a rose detail at front. Gathered and full-length skirt would be equally successful as a knee length or cocktail length. This could be done for an additional cost of £6.00. The dress is unlined and in excellent condition.

BODICE DETAIL
